there is a scene in the movie “what women want” where Lola AKA Marisa Tomei is in the verge of a meltdown after confronting Nick AKA Mel Gibson after having sex and never calling her… pretty much sums it all up…

So I am a pretty smart, pretty cute, well educated , beautiful, “head turning when walking by”, young woman and STILL feeling like shit when a guy rejects me, even if he is short, ugly, stupid, undesirable, or someone I didn’t consider as boyfriend material but made the fault of sleeping with him, always for the wrong reasons…
I may sound utterly naive and shallow but STILL deep down inside I feel like a fragile 5 year old every time I get rejected.
